Describes the process whereby you get to address committees of the TDSB in your own words.
Here’s how you get your name on the list of speakers at these meetings:
3. Requests to Appear
Requests by delegations and individuals to speak to a standing committee must be submitted in writing (fax or e-mail) to David Tomczak, Senior Manager, Board Services, by 4 p.m., two days before the day of the committee meeting.
Requests must include:
- the topic that will be addressed
- the name of the speaker
- address of the speaker
- contact information for the speaker (phone, fax, e-mail)
- the name of the organization (if the speaker is representing an organization such as a school council or community group)
